Judge

"Kenapa nak judge?"

Wait. If we regularly utter this, especially when someone talks about you, believe me you are still immature. We judge, everyday. Is this shirt beautiful, is this food delicious, and so on. Oh that's not we're talking about. I am refferring to judging someone as a person.

Actually it is not about why we judge but the real question is how is our judgement true or valid? The person who can confirm our judgement is ourself, based on our knowledge and principles.

So can we judge pople? The answer is within yourself. We have our inner thought, nobody knows what you're thinking and it is your responsibility to control your mind. But when it breaches through your mouth, your judgement is inapplicable. We know we get judged because someone said about it. Believe me, the person who said that has nothing, nothing to do with you at all. So why do their words matter you? It is inapplicable.

If then we say "kenapa nak judge?" Basically we have already judge them too. How are we different from the person? Pathetic isn't it?

Therefore, in Islam we are thought that one of our biggest enemy is ourself, our heart, our inner thought, our hawa nafsu. So why do we take so much attention to what people say or think about us while we should focus on improving our mind and soul?

Judging ourself in the middle of the night during tahajjud is the best therapy and self-improvement.
